927.725 Repeater (902.725in) PL 5A
IRLP Node 4088
K3WX/R
Ashton, Maryland
The 900 mhz repeater is a Motorola Micor repeater, driving a Decibel products 900mhz amplifier and runs 125 watts to the duplexer. The antenna is a 10db omni directional antenna at the 150' level on the tower.
The repeater has a main receiver at Ashton, and one remote receiver in Northwest Washington DC and uses a Motorola Spectra-TAC voter.
The 900mhz repeater is linked to other repeaters on the internet via IRLP, and is IRLP node 4088. To link to another repeater, simply dial it's node or conference four digit number on your touch tone pad, and dial 73 when finished to disconnect the link.
There are a lot of Part 15 devices on the 900mhz band, and we struggle with interference on our input at the Ashton main site. This effects talk-in somewhat.
